ballard kitchen & bath
Perched on a bluff above Shilshole Bay, a dated kitchen and a ‘50s bath were out of synch with both the home and the water view. A revisioning of the kitchen included adding and relocating windows, expanding the kitchen into an underutilized mudroom, installing a Nana door and a Nana window, and finishes of warm wood and paint colors that compliment the sea and sky. The bathroom went from a layout with a Jack and Jill entrance to a spa-like room with a single door. Hand-painted tiles in an ocean theme, warm tile floors and dual shower heads round out the improvements. Completed 2019.
